Arjun Darbha has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in Vehicle data systems. Arjun started his data career with a car data analytics company called Control-tec in Michigan, US; as an intern and later continuing as a Data Scientist. He built data products for the company that aided auto OEMs to root cause problems with the vehicle sub systems based on data on the internal CAN network. His recent endeavor was with a motorcycle data company called EatSleepRide (ESR) based in downtown Toronto as a Data Science Lead. At ESR, Arjun worked on projects like crash detection, behavioral score evaluation for the insurance market managing the backend of all the end-user facing data products ESR developed. He is currently working as an independent data-scientist working on a video processing application to generate MuscoSkeletal systems on humans playing sports and later calculate KPIs that would help coaches improve the quality and efficiency of players. Arjun continues to work part-time with ESR, consulting on future data projects.
